How to measure your head for a hat — front, side, and back views using a soft measuring tape
  1. Wrap a soft measuring tape (or a strip of string) around the widest part of your head.
  2. Keep it about 1 cm above your ears and across the middle of your forehead.
  3. Snug, not tight — note the measurement where the tape meets.
  4. Match your measurement to the chart above.
