How to Measure Your Head for a Hat
- Wrap a soft measuring tape (or a strip of string) around the widest part of your head.
- Keep it about 1 cm above your ears and across the middle of your forehead.
- Snug, not tight — note the measurement where the tape meets.
- Match your measurement to the chart above.
I’ve been wearing a wool knitted beret and needed to get a summer hat. After consulting with Irene, the artist who makes these beautiful hats, I elected to get the red hat. It took a couple of weeks to arrive and I got it today. It’s exactly what I was looking for and I love the cute cotton lining. I’m probably going to order another color, as it is perfect for summer. I have a very large head and was advised the large would work for me. It does and I’m so pleased. Thank you!
The beret has a polyester + velcro band on the inside for sizing, I can't remember if the listing mentioned that. The rest of it is indeed cotton linen. Nicely made, size is accurate and color matches picture. Thanks!!
