The hat is made of a nice thick wool. Although I ordered the kid's size, I found it a bit big for my rather small head, but I think most people won't have the issue. Only thing that was a little frustrating for me during the process was that the shipping tracking number was invalid, so I got antsy about whether the item was shipped when it took a little longer than I expected to arrive. One star off only for the tracking part. Seller was incredibly helpful and accommodating with proof when I was unsure if the item was genuinely handmade.

These are nicely made poofy berets. I'd hoped they would be a little poofier, as wer were trying to emulate the poofiness of a beret made by the old Chiliheads company. I have one, and my twinner and her wife wanted one also, but apparently Chiliheads doesn't make them any longer. These berets are close. Not quite there, but very nice and they look great!

I like the style. You can adjust the shape with the wired brim. One of the cutest bucket hat.

Overall, the hat is really cute and adjustable. I took off a star because the items had a moldy smell and the papers it came with were warped like they had been exposed to moisture. I contacted the seller to make sure I could wash them and they got back quickly with me, but no apologies were given over the condition of the hats. It took a couple of times to wash the smell completely out of them. They are great hats and manage to stay on well if the band inside is adjusted tightly around the head.
